'Luxury' lodges provide similar, hotel-style accommodation to standard lodges; invariably they are located in superb surroundings and rooms have very high quality furnishing and provide magnificent views over the game park. The lodges belong either to the Sopa or Serena group, the latter are more expensive and offer the ultimate in luxury. CC Africa lodges are on a par with Serena but may offer a more personalised service. Most luxury lodges have swimming pools, all have bars, meals are served in restaurants or can be brought to your room. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and are sometimes air conditioned. During peak periods (Christmas-New Year, then June-September) it is difficult to guarantee places at any given lodge. When applying please state your chosen itinerary and we will do our best to book it but we may have to make a minor alteration which should not over-all affect your safari program or quality.

Our lodge safaris are accompanied by a trained safari driver-guide and use 4 wheel drive vehicles such as Land Rovers or Land Cruisers fitted with roofs that can be opened for better game viewing.
