Your Tented Lodge Safari Permanent Tented Camps: The quality is similar to a that of a standard lodge
but accommodation is in individual large canvas sided huts erected on platforms
often with thatched roofs. All tents have private ensuite washroom facilities
with hot showers. All have high quality restaurants and bars and some have
swimming pools. Not all parks have a tented camp. During peak periods (Christmas-New Year, then June-September) it is difficult
to guarantee places at any given tented lodge. When applying please state your
chosen itinerary and we will do our best to book it but we may have to make a
minor alteration which should not over-all affect your safari program or
quality. Should you choose this option for a safari and the camps are not
available, then standard lodge accommodation would be used and costed
accordingly. Our lodge safaris are accompanied by a trained safari driver-guide and use 4
wheel drive vehicles such as Land Rovers or Land Cruisers fitted with roofs
that can be opened for better game viewing.
